DayDay ("we", "our", or "us") operates the DayDay Chrome extension and web application at dayday-flax.vercel.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — used to create and authenticate your account
• Password — stored securely using industry-standard encryption via Supabase
• Dealership name and consultant name — used to personalize your posting settings
• Phone number — used to auto-generate emoji phone numbers for your listings
• Preset description — saved to pre-fill your Facebook Marketplace listings

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your account session
• Save and restore your dealership posting preferences
• Connect your account to your dealership's inventory feed
• Auto-fill Facebook Marketplace vehicle listing forms on your behalf

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your Facebook account credentials or session data
• Your browsing history or activity outside of Facebook Marketplace listing pages
• Payment or financial information
• Health information
• Location data beyond what is included in your dealership's inventory feed

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, which employs industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensure that each dealership's data is isolated and inaccessible to other users.

Login credentials saved locally in the Chrome extension are stored in Chrome's local storage, which is accessible only to the DayDay extension on your device.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, credit determination, or any purpose unrelated to operating the DayDay service.

6. Third-Party Services

DayDay uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — authentication and database (supabase.com)
• Vercel — web application hosting (vercel.com)
• Railway — backend API hosting (railway.app)

Each of these services maintains their own privacy policies and security standards.

7. Chrome Extension Permissions

The DayDay Chrome extension requests the following permissions solely to operate its core functionality:

• activeTab / scripting — to auto-fill Facebook Marketplace vehicle listing forms
• storage — to save your settings and session locally on your device
• tabs — to open Facebook Marketplace listing tabs for each vehicle being posted
• clipboardWrite / clipboardRead — to assist with photo transfer to Facebook Marketplace

8. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

DayDay is intended for use by automotive dealership professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of DayDay after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
